Ireland is endowed with a temperate oceanic climate throughout the year. West Cork, Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Galway are some of the popular spots to visit in Ireland. Many organizations like the Government of Ireland, the Irish higher education institutions, and various other organizations offer scholarships for international students. These scholarships are meted out solely at the individual organizations’ discretion that has their own eligibility criteria. For more detailed information, students must contact the institution or organization of their choice directly.

  • Merit prizes range from €1,000 to a 100% waiver of tuition fee
  • No separate scholarship application for scholarships that are university-specific
  • Separate scholarships for achieving excellence in sports
  • Scholarships are awarded across all education levels.
  • Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships is provided only once in a year. Scholarships awarded to high-caliber students from non-EU/EEA countries to study in Ireland for a year, amounting to €10,000.
  • NUI Galway International Student Scholarships – Merit-based scholarships are available for international students across all study levels. There are also country-specific options for students from China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia or the US.

You will require the following documents to apply for Ireland Visa.

1. Passport
2. Letter of acceptance from a recognized Irish institution
3. Passport-sized colour photographs
4. The score of an English language proficiency test such as IELTS
5. Proof of fee payment
6. Submission of the financial papers.

Students who are approved to study in Ireland with higher education institutions listed on the ILEP, can work during their study in Ireland. Students can work part-time up to 20 hours a week or full-time up to 40 hours a week during holiday periods.

International students engaged in full-time study of at least one year can work in Ireland after completion fo their degree.
